NPR Wins Another Gas Royalty Settlement, This Time Against Laredo Petrol

May 20, 2015

NPR represented a class of underpaid royalty owners in this action against Laredo Petroleum Inc. The class members in this case alleged Laredo unlawfully deducted certain post-production costs from the class members’ royalty payments. As a result of NPR’s hard work and dedication to this action spanning nearly three years, the firm obtained a settlement with Laredo and its successors EnerVest and FourPoint of $6,651,997 on behalf of the class.

NPR’s complex litigation team—partners Jeff Angelovich, Brad Beckworth and Susan Whatley and associates Lisa Baldwin, John Hull, Trey Duck and Drew Pate—led the prosecution of this case.
